Creative Retreats UK ran for 2 years. Along the way attracting over 300 individuals all interested in living a more creative life, attending Retreats, engaging with our online stories and joining in on our Creative Sundays.

‘The perfect chance to put a much needed pause button on life and have honest and interesting conversations with a brilliant, bright and beautiful bunch of people!’

‘In such a short time, I’ve been nourished in so many ways: physically, mentally, spiritually.’

‘As soon as I got there I started painting, went off into my own little world and just didn’t stop. I actually came away exhausted, but with a sense of accomplishment that I had forgotten existed!’

‘I learnt so much in a relaxed and informal way, yet also learnt things about myself that I didn’t expect at all. Thank you to everyone who was a part of that.’

Hear from our 2015 Retreater Uli Schulz who started a blog ‘Found Some Paper’ in 2015 all about living a creative life through the curious world of art and design. At a Creative Retreat, she had the opportunity to run her first workshop. She had so much fun with her blog, she has since started up her own online marketplace for green enthusiasts called ‘Secrets of Green.’ Read more here.

Hear from our Jan’ 2016 Retreater Alice Luetchford who loves to oil paint and take photographs when she gets the time. She has been ‘painting when she gets the chance’ for years and during a stint off work recently, managed to get the ball truly rolling again painting animals, mountains and nature which she  exhibited as part of the Dulwich Open House last year. A more recent painting of her mother whilst in hospital was shortlisted for the BP Portrait Award 2016. Read her reflections on the weekend here.
